"If you want to know all about Andy Warhol, just look at the surface of my paintings and films and me, and there I am. There’s nothing behind it."- Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol is an American artist who shaped a unique art world across various media including paintings, silkscreens, photographs, films, and sculptures exploring the relationship between artistic expressions, advertising, and popular culture that flourished in the 1960s.

Until his unexpected death in 1987, Warhol was a central figure in New York’s art community and mentor to artists such as Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. In this exhibition, THE PAGE GALLERY focuses on Andy Warhol's early works, which broke the boundaries between commerce and art. His fame as one of the greatest artists and cultural icons in the history of contemporary art is based on his earlier career. Warhol's charming drawings became the groundwork for his later works and overall aesthetics.
