CONTEMPORARY ART STAGE 1 is a group exhibition presenting the artists at the forefront of the global art world and the masters who left a mark in art history. Especially, IM Heung-Soon examines the issues in modern Korean history through video works and projects. The eleven participating artists are represented by unique cultural, social, religious, and political aspects reflected in their works. In addition, their simultaneous practice in common oscillating between various art boundaries presents the diversity of the contemporary global art stage.
