한진은 철자상 표기되나 발음되지 않는 묵음(默音)과 같이, 존재하지만 예기치 못한 순간에 사라질 대상과 감각을 시각화한다. 이들이 영원한 소멸이나 부재가 아닌 다른 움직임으로 간다고 믿기 때문이다. 유실, 부재, 변화를 포착하여 기억을 수식하는 중요한 단서로 삼고 이를 토대로 현장답사, 문학, 음악 등 응시하는 대상과 관련된 요소들을 오랜 리서치를 바탕으로 체득하여 시각적 그리고 청각적 형식으로 표현한다. <벡사시옹>(2021), <흑빙>(2018), <화이트 노이즈>(2016), <아득한 울림>(2015) 전시 명에서도 볼 수 있듯이 일시적 변화가 아닌, 오랜 시간을 관통하면서 육안으로 명확하게 가늠하기 어려운 상태로 존재하며 결국 예기치 못한 순간에 사라질 대상과 감각에 주목한다.

Han Jin visualizes the presence of things that, like muk-eum (默音)-written but never pronounced-exist only to vanish at unexpected moments. She believes that disappearance is not an end but a movement toward another form of existence. By tracing loss, absence, and transformation, she treats them as vital clues that modify and expand memory. Through extensive research, including field studies, literature, and music, she absorbs and translates these sapects into both visual and auditory form. As seen in her exhibitions Vexations (2021), Black Ice (2018), White Noise (2016), and Sound f roma Distant Space (2015), her work focuses on objects and sensations that exist beyond the boundaries of visible perception, persisting over long periods of time rather than appearing as t emporary changes, and ultimately disappearing at unexpected moments.
