더페이지갤러리는 2026년 6월 26일부터 7월 24일까지 정구호의 개인전 《白骨銅 백골동》을 개최합니다. 작가의 대표 연작 《공생》의 신작 15점을 소개하는 이번 전시는 장르와 시대를 가로질러온 정구호 고유의 시각 언어가 조형의 영역에서 새롭게 펼쳐지는 순간을 제시합니다.

정구호는 전통과 현대, 기능과 가치, 장인과 작가라는 서로 다른 영역이 하나의 구조 안에서 어떻게 새로운 관계를 형성할 수 있는지 탐구해왔습니다. 《공생》 연작은 이러한 문제의식에서 출발해, 과거의 유산과 현대적 재료가 대립이 아닌 상호 보완의 관계로 공존할 수 있는 가능성을 제안합니다.

이번 개인전 《白骨銅 백골동》은 전통의 복원이나 현대적 변용을 넘어, 과거와 현재가 함께 미래적 감각으로 확장되는 과정을 보여주며 새로운 가치와 의미의 생성에 대해 묻습니다.

The Page Gallery is pleased to present BAEK GOL DONG(白骨銅), a solo exhibition by Kuho Jung, on view from June 26 to July 24, 2026. Featuring 15 new works from the artist’s acclaimed “Coexistence” series, the exhibition marks a significant moment in which his distinctive visual language, shaped across multiple disciplines and historical contexts, finds renewed expression through sculpture.

Throughout his practice, Kuho has explored how seemingly disparate domains, including tradition and modernity, function and value, and craftsmanship and artistic authorship, can be brought into meaningful dialogue within a single structural framework. Emerging from this inquiry, the “Coexistence” series suggests that historical heritage and contemporary materials need not stand in opposition, but can instead coexist in a complementary relationship.

Rather than seeking to restore tradition or reinterpret it through a contemporary lens, 白骨銅 BAEK GOL DONG examines how past and present converge to open onto a new sensibility attuned to the future. In doing so, the exhibition invites reflection on how new values and meanings continue to emerge through their encounter.
