George Condo established his position in art history with his unique painting style, which made him loved by both critics and the public. Also, he has proved his influence in the market as an artist with the highest auction record among living artists. He coined the term Psychological Cubism for his works, which feature strangely fractured and distorted human figures.
Condo has been the subject of a number of solo exhibitions at major art museums and notable biennales, including Tate Modern in London, MoMA in New York, Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam, the Venice Biennale, and the Lyon Biennale.
